Fully recovered from the devastating Hurricane Odile in 2014, the destination is new and improved and again booming. Beyond the beach, there are a number of events that draw more and more people to the area each year. The Los Cabos International Film Festival showcases films from Mexico, Canada and the US, and had record attendance in 2015. In December, the Sabor A Cabo is the their international gastronomy and wine festival, welcoming international chefs to promote cuisine from the region.
